Giving Tuesday is a global movement, focused on the power of radical generosity to transform communities and the world. With your support, we can reach our goal of $5000 - the average cost to support one new dog for an entire year. Will you join us?

For more than a decade, Early Alert Canines (EAC) has worked to advance our mission to improve the health, safety, and well-being of people with insulin-dependent diabetes through partnerships with certified low blood sugar alert dogs.

Your donation provides life-changing and life-saving support for people like Monique. Imagine you’re just thirteen years old and are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Imagine struggling as a child to manage your blood sugar. Imagine entering adolescence and trying to develop independence when your health, and even your life, often depends on others to help you. Then, imagine the freedom a trained Diabetic Alert Dog could bring into your life.

This is exactly what happened to Monique who shares, "A person with type 1 diabetes has so many things to deal with in addition to just simply living life. Early Alert Canines provides life-saving companions. These dogs are trained to help us identify blood glucose changes faster than most of our technology and to help prevent the numerous complications that come with the disease."
